It is with heavy hearts that the family of Beatrice Bonin, age 87, of Gatineau, Quebec, announces her sudden passing on October 11, 2016 at her home in Gatineau. Born in D'Escousse, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Elizabeth (Fougere) Bonin. She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Debbie Dorey (Tommy), West Arichat; sons, Paul Landry (Bob), Boston, Mass., Kevin Landry, Red Deer, Alberta; grandchildren, Shelly Dorey, West Arichat, Rebecca and Rachael Landry, Oshawa, Ontario; great-granddaughter Layla Debbie-Anne Dorey, West Arichat; brothers, Alexander Bona (Lena), Pondville, Clarence, Sydney Pier, Bill, Ontario; sister, Marie Babin, West Arichat. Beatrice was predeceased by several brothers and sisters. Funeral Mass and committal took place in Gatineau, Quebec. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated in Our Lady of Assumption Church in Arichat on Saturday morning, October 29th at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Doug MacDonald officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the ROC Centre in Port Hawkesbury. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to C. H. Boudreau Funeral Home in Arichat.
