MARSHALL, Mary Veronica, 81- Potlotek
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Veronica Marshall of Potlotek which occurred on August 15, 2017 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital in Sydney. Born on August 9, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Charles Vicaire and Elizabeth Peter-Paul. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Mary will be sadly missed by her daughter Rhonda Marshall, Potlotek; son Gary Simon, Elsipogtog; step son Coliste Paul, Indian Brook; 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Allister Marshall and sister Clara Ward. Visitation will be held in Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha Chapel in Chapel Island on Saturday at 12p.m. until Monday morning at 9a.m. Funeral Mass will take place Monday morning at 10a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, Barra Head with Rev. Antolin Asor officiating. Burial to follow in Immaculate Conception Parish Cemetery, Barra Head. A meal and salite will follow the burial at the Potlotek Community Hall.
