Obituary of Jason Anthony Marryatt
Please share a memory of Jason to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
JASON MARRYATT; 21, PETIT-DE-GRAT, NS
Though we wish we didn't have to, it is with great sadness that the family and friends, both offline and online, announce the passing of Jason Anthony Marryatt Sunday, August 20, 2017.
Born October 16, 1995, at St. Martha's Hospital in Antigonish, NS, he was the treasure of his mother Carol (Dougald) Hayne and the son of Russell (Joe) Marryatt. Although he lived a less than average lifespan, Jason was a more than an average caring per-son.
Though he thought a gathering of more than five was a party, he will be immortalized by many loving family members and friends. Most notably, by his brother, David (Breagha), and sister, Laura; his nénène (godmother) Marion (Antoine) Mury; god-father, Michael (Jane) Marryatt; his uncle Kevin (Mary) Marryatt, Jimmy (Marilyn) Mar-ryatt and aunt Trena (Lonnie) Marryatt; and his paternal grandmother, Stella MacDon-nell.
Wherever death takes you, he will be embraced by those who have gone before him; his maternal Papa and Mama, Edward and Valerie Hayne; paternal grandfather, Her-bert Marryatt; and cousin Steven Marryatt.
Family is not always connected by blood, but sometimes by friendship and caring. Ja-son's family and friends want to thank his best friend, Justin Boutilier, a person of ex-emplary conduct and virtue.
An evening of remembrance will take place Thursday, August 24 from 6 PM to 9 PM at C. H. Boudreau Funeral Home, 633 Veteran's Memorial Dr., and a memorial service will be held on Friday morning at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church, Petit-de-Grat, with Rev. Callitus Abazie officiating ; burial to take place at a later date.
Don't bother with flowers - spend your money on yourself and your loved ones, be-cause life can be short. Though, If you can afford to, please make a memorial donation to the IWK Foundation. Your donations will support excellence in care.
Spend time with those you hold dear. Fulfil your hopes and dreams. If you want to take a trip; take it. Be happy. Love. Laugh. Play. That is what Jason would wish for you.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to C. H. Boudreau Funeral Home in Arichat. To send words of comfort to the family or to light a candle in memory of Jason, please visit www.chboudreau.com
