Obituary of Nora Ann Landry

LANDRY, Nora Ann, 61, of Arichat It is with deep sadness that we the family have to announce the sudden passing of our loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and grandmother Nora Ann Landry on June 6, 2017 at her residence in Arichat. Born May 25, 1956 in Arichat, she was the daughter of Ethel Mary (Samson), Petit de Gat and the late Viateur Wilfred Boudreau. Nora spent most of her time loving her husband, boys, daughters in law and her pride and joy, her grandchildren. She worked in various careers but her life will be defined by the many things she did for others. She was selfless in everything she did. Most recently she enjoyed traveling with her husband, riding on their Harley, playing cards and laughing with family and friends. She touched the hearts of everyone she knew and her passing will leave a void. Besides her mother Ethel; she will be sadly missed by her loving husband Thomas of 40 years, sons Nathan (Theresa), Port Hawkesbury, Matthew (Holly), Arichat; grandchildren Avah, Bailey, Jaxson, Austin and Autumn; brothers Alfred (Thérèse), Boudreauville, Wayne (Thérèse), Evanston, Howard, D'Escousse; sisters Karen (Robert) Roach, Port Hastings, Andrea (Albert) Landry, Boudreauville and many nieces and nephews. Besides her father Viateur she was predeceased by her step father George Martell; brother in law Luke Landry and sister in law Donna Landry. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held in C. H. Boudreau Funeral Home in Arichat on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Our Lady of Assumption Church in Arichat Saturday afternoon at 2pm. Burial to follow in Star of the Sea Cemetery, Petit de Grat. Reception will be held following the committal at the Isle Madame Royal Canadian Legion Branch 150i in Arichat. Memorial donations can be made to the St. Anne's Centre, Arichat or to the Isle Madame Veteran's Comfort Fund. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to C.H. Boudreau Funeral Home in Arichat.
