BONIN, Mary Shirley, 87, of Poirierville who passed away suddenly on June 28, 2017 at her home in Poirierville. Born December 31, 1929 in Halifax, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Catherine (Beaton) MacDonnell-Timmons. She will be sadly missed by her daughter, June Bonin, Halifax; sons, Edmund, Saskatoon, Russell (Susan), Augusta, Georgia, David, and Phillip both of Halifax, Michael (Kimberley), Timberlea; thirteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren; sisters, Theresa McGrath, Dartmouth, Eunice McNeil, Prospect. She was predeceased by her husband Raymond Joseph; brother John Donald Timmons. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held in C. H. Boudreau Funeral Home in Arichat on Wednesday evening, July 5th from 7-9pm. Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Assumption Church in Arichat Thursday afternoon, July 6th at1pm in Arichat with Rev. Antolin Absur officiating. Burial to take place in St. Hyacinth Cemetery on D'Escousse. Memorial donations can be made to the charity of one's choice. A reception will take place following the committal in the Lennox Passage Yacht Club in D'Escousse.
