RANSON, Chesley Joseph,
Age 80, of Poulamon, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 in the Strait Richmond Hospital in Evanston. Born May 9, 1937, he was a son of the late Wilfred and Katherine (Forgeron) Ranson. Chesley was members of the New Horizon's Seniors Club, Arichat, and the Civic Improvement Hall, D'Escousse. He very much enjoyed Thursday night Card Play. He is survived by his son Shawn (Paula Kavanagh), D'Escousse; daughter Darlene (Nathan) Martell, Lower River; and brother James(Delores), D'Escousse. Besides his parents, Chesley was predeceased by his wife Marilyn; brothers Ambrose Forgeron, Burt and Bennie Ranson, as well as sisters Lillian Landry and Delia (in infancy). There will be no visitation or service as per his request. Committal will take place in St. Hyacinth Cemetery, D'Escousse at a later date. Memorial donations can be made to the St. Hyacinth Cemetery Fund, D'Escousse. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to C. H. Boudreau Funeral Home in Arichat.
