Obituary of Mary Margaret Touesnard

TOUESNARD, Mary Margaret-88, River Bourgeois

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Margaret Touesnard that occurred on February 1, 2018 in the QEII Health Science Centre in Halifax. She was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Kennedy) Cameron. Mary was an honorary member of the River Bourgeois C.W.L. and loved to sing in the St. John the Baptist Choir. She enjoyed playing cards, bowling, dancing and bingo. Her grandkids use to call her “Bingo Granny”. Mary was very proud of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her husband of 66 years, Allan Cletus Touesnard; sons Robert (Rita), Brantford, ONT, Kevin (Madonna), Roger (Sharon), both of Antigonish, Peter (Mary), Denver Colorado grandchildren Dennis, Nicole, Mitchell, Michelynn, Tiffany, Christopher, Ethan, Ryan, Ashley, Erin; 11 great grandchildren. She will also be sadly missed by her sister Isabel Campbell, Ont; brothers Bill, Margaree Forks, Archie (Vonda), Alex (Ann), Gerard (Sophie), all of Ontario, Pat, Reserve Mines; sister-in-law Catherine Cameron. Mary was predeceased by her daughter Renée Touesnard; brother Martin; brother-in-law Angus Campbell; sisters-in-law Wilma and Obbie Cameron. Visitation will take place in the River Bourgeois Visitation Parlour in River Bourgeois on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral Mass will take place Tuesday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. in St. John the Baptist Church, River Bourgeois with Rev. Antolin Asur officiating. Burial will take place in St. John the Baptist Parish Cemetery, River Bourgeois at a later date.
