We send our deepest condolences to the Hillier family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you in this very difficult time. You can be very proud of your Dad. He was an all round great person who was admired by many. He certainly had a good sense of humour which he shared with everyone. Be comforted in peace of mind that he has now joined your Mom Verona, the love of his life.
Dearest Debbie, Steve,Brad, Joy and families.
We were so saddened to hear of your dad’s passing. You have all gone through so much in the past few years. Our thoughts and prayers are with you always.
We had just returned to Dartmouth after Uncle Jack’s funeral when we heard about your dad. Unfortunately, the trip there and back was hard on dad and as much as we wanted to, we couldn’t go back. He often talks about the time your dad brought him aboard the HMCS Nootka and introduced him to the Captain who then asked him if he could engrave 86 beer steins for the crew within a week. Your dad got a week off to help him do it. Imagine the fun they had. I’ve heard the story many times. He also told me stories about when they were in the Lion’s club together.
You know he will always be with you, but even more of a comfort to you, that he is now in your mom’s arms . Love and peace to you all,
Lisa, Dan Bedell and Jim Bowden
May you find strength and comfort in the love and memories that you shared. So sorry for your loss.

Joy, Brad, Debbie & Steve & Family - so very sorry to hear of the passing of your beloved dad. He was a very kind and dedicated husband and father and was admired and respected by everyone who knew him. Although it is a huge loss for your family I’m sure Verona was at the gate with her arms wide open jumping up and down saying “what took you so long to get here!” Rest assured you have another angel in your corner of the ring up there watching over you wanting you to move forward now knowing they are at peace. Wish we could be with you to offer our support but we will be in Florida leaving Tuesday prior to the service. God bless you all and know that our prayers will be with you as you celebrate his life xoxo Dar and Terry

Joy, Debbie, Steve, Brad and families,
Sending our condolences on the loss of your dad. Growing up next door to your family I know what a wonderful and kind man your dad was. He loved your mom and each of you with all his heart. My sister spent a lot of time at your house in the years before your mom passed and she always said how good he was to her and your mom as they would sit knitting and having tea. He would spoil them silly! Many card games we had and he would be our little server. Such a kind soul. Cherish your memories of him. I’m sure you have many to remember. Sending hugs and our prayers to you all from Bruno and I. Xo
