Obituary of Carmella Diane Clannon

It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of our mother, Carmella Diane Clannon of Petit de Grat that occurred at Strait Richmond Hospital in Evanston with loving children by her side on January 28, 2019 at the age of 74 years, after a brief illness that she was diagnosed with in December 2018 of Progressing Alzheimer’s and Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Born October 18, 1944 in Arichat, she was a daughter of the late Gustave and Marguerite (DeCoste) Landry. Carmella leaves to mourn her daughter Cheryl Ann Reynolds (Rob), Petit de Grat, son Rennie (Marie), Little Anse; grandchildren Rylan, Miranda, April and Logan; brothers Tony Landry (Anne), Petit de Grat, Doug Landry (Carol), Samson’s Cove; sisters, Betty Boucher, Petit de Grat, Vivian (John Pellerine), Hamilton, ON. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Garvey; sister Sylvia Dolimont and brother in law Pat Dolimont. Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 6, 2019 from 9 – 10:30 am. In C.H. Boudreau Funeral Home, Arichat. Funeral Mass will be celebrated the same day at 11:00 am at St’ Joseph’s Church, Petit de Grat with Rev. Antolin Asor presiding. Burial to follow  in the Star of the Sea Cemetery. Reception to follow the committal in St. Joseph’s Parish Hall. Memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Society (NS) or to the Canadian Cancer Society (NS).
