DECOSTE, Edgar Denis, 72 of West Arichat

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Edgar Denis DeCoste of West Arichat that passed away on January 28th, 2025 at the Strait Richmond Hospital.

Born in Arichat, he was the son of the late Ernest Francis and Emma Mary (Mury) DeCoste.

Denis is survived by his brother Alexander “Lulu”, West Arichat; sisters Amelia DeCoste, Quebec, Donalda Breen (Seweard), Frankville, Clothilda Burgut, Vancouver, Agnes Power (Richard), Mulgrave; step sister Lorraine Landry, Quebec.

Besides his parents, Denis was predeceased by his wife Ann Marie (Forgeron); brothers Bernard, Napoleon, Duncan and step sister Marina Babin.

Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or funeral per request. Memorial donations can be made to the charity of one’s choice.
