I would like to pass on my condolences to the family and friends of Alex Berthier, especially Viny, Darlene, Nadine, Johnny, Bradley and Charmaine. Alex and Viny always made me feel welcome. Viny always had something for me to eat and Alex always had a story to tell. There is one word that when I hear it I will always think of Alex . That word is UNBELIEVABLE he would often use it when he was telling me a story or commenting on something that had happened. Until we meet again Alex, rest easy!

Alex had told me many years ago that he worked with my Dad at the waterfront. It was a memory that I hold close. Knowing Alex had known my Dad was somehow a comfort.

You could always count on Alex for a good feed of Lobsters. Myself and Donnie visited him frequently at his home in L'ardoise, and we were always greeted with a smile and a welcome. We spent the days sharing many laughs. Donnie enjoyed working with him on the waterfront for over 40 years.
