Obituary of Deborah Claire Boudreau

Please share a memory of Deborah Claire to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Debra Boudreau of St. Mary’s, a devoted mother, wife, sister, aunt, and friend. Debbie passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and kindness that touched the lives of all who knew her. Debbie was the beloved wife of Napoleon (Nap) Boudreau, and a devoted and loving mother to her cherished son Nathan and daughter-in-law Amber. She was the heart of her family—steadfast, caring, and always putting others before herself. Predeceased by her loving parents, Nora and Alcide Landry, as well as her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Melda and Ceasar Boudreau, and her brother-in-law Edwin Samson , Debbie now rests in peace with those who went before her. She is survived by her brothers Gerry, Darryl, and Douglas (Donna); her sister Jean (Wendell); brothers-in-law Marcel and Lenny (Georgina); and sisters-in-law Rosanne and Phyllis. She was a proud aunt to many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand nephews, all of whom she loved as her own. Visits with Aunt Debbie were never complete without a warm hug and a handful of treats—memories that will be cherished forever. Debbie was the kind of person who built lasting friendships wherever she went. She had an infectious laugh and a quick wit, always ready with a joke or a story. Her friendships, too many to name, were deeply valued, and she made every shared moment meaningful. Above all, Debbie will be remembered for her boundless affection, her generous heart, and her ability to make everyone feel like family. She will be profoundly missed and fondly remembered by all who had the honour of knowing her. A celebration of Debbie’s life will be held on Saturday, June 14, in St. Joseph's Church, Petit de Grat at 11:00am with Rev. Duaine Devereaux officiating. Burial will take place at a later date. A reception to follow at the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 150 in Arichat. In lieu of flowers, donation's can be made to the Heart's of Isle Madame or The Kidney Foundation of Nova Scotia. Family would like to send a special thank you to the doctors and staff at the Strait Richmond Hospital, Cape Breton Regional Hospital and to Doctors and staff at 6.4 CCU at the Halifax infirmary.
