Obituary of Joseph Antoine Tony Forgeron

FORGERON Joseph Antoine “Tony”, West Arichat It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Joseph Antoine “Tony” Forgeron of West Arichat, which occurred at the Strait Richmond Hospital in Evanston on July 16, 2025. Born February 14, 1951, in West Arichat, he was the son of the late Francis and Lucille (Forgeron) LeJeune. Tony worked for Clearwater for many years, and made many friends. He was a kind person who enjoyed life to the end. Tony is survived by his step-daughters, Karen Daisley (Eddy), Lower River, Gail Samway, Halifax, and Connie Dorey, Lower River; step-son, Junior Dorey, Dartmouth; brothers, Amedee LeJeune (Helen), Enfield, and Arthur LeJeune (Wendy), Yarmouth. He is also survived by several cousins. Besides her parents, Tony, lost the love of his life Jean Dorey many years ago, he was also predeceased his sister Marie LeJeune. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation per request. A celebration of life with take place on Saturday, August 2, 2025 in Our Lady of Assumption Church, Arichat at 11am with Rev. Duaine Devereaux officiating. Burial to follow in the Immaculate Conception Church, West Arichat. Memorial donations can be made to the Immaculate Conception Cemetery Fund. The family would like to thank Dr. Stephen DeRoach and all the nursing staff who was so kind and caring to Tony during his stay at the hospital.
