Samson, Shawn Joseph, 54 of Halifax
It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Shawn Joseph Samson of Halifax that passed away at his home on August 9, 2025.
Born in Toronto, he was the son of the late Louis Albert and Mary Antoinette (Samson) Samson.
Shawn is survived by his brothers Keith Samson, Sampson Cove, Jaret Samson (Sarah MacDonald), Cape Jack; nephews Caileb Stubs, Kiean Stubs, Nathan Oliver, Tyler Olsen and friend Catherine Monk.
Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or funeral per request. A graveside service will take place on Saturday, August 23rd in Star of the Sea Columbarium, Petit de Grat at 10:30am with Rev. Duaine Devereaux officiating.
Memorial donations in memory of Shawn may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Nova Scotia.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to C. H. Boudreau Funeral Home, Arichat.
