,
Sincere condolences to Louis' family. Their loss is profound. We were in the restaurant this week and felt like the heart of the business was gone. Louis was very generous in offering whatever I would want for any of my projects. In later years, he could often be seen chatting to everyone as he did his walk-abouts.
After many years of giving to family and the community may he now enjoy the rewards of eternal life.

Dear Loretta,
It is hard to find words to express such a loss to you. Louie was your soulmate, the love of your life. May your memories comfort you in the days ahead. Please accept my sincere condolences.
Dear Kevin, Lynn and family
Sending heartfelt sympathy for your loss. Louie will always be remembered for his sense of humour, kindness and dedication to the community. A life while lived. Rest in peace, Louie
Sending our deepest condolences to all of the Boudreau family and extended family. Louie has been in part of our lives forever, but it all really started when Derek & I were married (35 years ago), and Louie catered to the wedding. He was funny, smart and everyone loved him. Our kids used to call him Uncle Lou-lee. That started when our oldest was just old enough to talk and anytime we speak of him we say "Uncle Lou-lee".
May he rest in peace, and I know he had a HUGE welcoming once he crossed over.
Once again, please accept our condolences.

Louis was a character. Always a story. Always a cackle. Always good to us no matter if we hired him to cater something or dropped by one of his many locations for food. He was the life of the party even if it wasn't his party and he was working it! He will be missed. Condolences from Billy, Natalie and Michael Bona
To the family and friends of the funniest, kindest, sweetest man, I send my deepest condolences. He was a very special person, and if you were eating at the Cozy Corner, you could be sure he'd stop by your table and share a joke, a hug, or just to chat. It won't be the same without him. Rest in peace my friend.
Spent much of my childhood at the Cozy Corner and continued my annual visits when I returned home for vacation. Uncle Louie was the best; always welcoming; always concerned about others more so than himself. The legacy of a man is with the memory they leave behind. Rest in peace Uncle Louie… he’s one of few people we always considered an Uncle more than a cousin. Love you.

Loretta, Kevin, Lynn & All the family:
We were so saddened to hear of cousin Louis passing.we send you anll our thoughts & prayers in the days to come. Upon visiting him a few times this summer at the hospital, we prayed for a miracle to happen & that he would get better. We know he was suffering & believe he was not happy being so sick & not able to do his job running the COZY CORNER! I heard he was asking for the potatoes & carrots to peel for catering. His mind & heart was always there.
Louis was very well known, loved & appreciated by so many people he made friends with along the way.
You surely have earned your wings dear cousin. I’m sure Lisa, Aunt Mary, Uncle Raymond, Clothilde & Aunt Shirley were there waiting to take your hand. We will miss you dearly when going to the restaurant.
Fly high with the angels Cuz.

Many many times Louie and I would talk and insult each other jokingly, yet if someone saw us and didn't know we knew each other the look on their face was to us hilarious.ill miss this man and the way he understood everyone differently. Now he's with his daughter and family in a place hopefully we can all enter as we leave this world.Louie was so fortunate to have with him by his side his loving family who meant so much to him, and prepared him in his last days for this beautiful trip he was going on.RIP my friend ,save a place for us at the table.
We were so sorry to hear about Louie’s passing. He was one of those people that would talk to you no matter where he saw you and you always left with a smile on your face. Many of our communities will miss his presence and kindness.

Our hearts are broken hearing of Louis passing. When’d you all ou love, thoughts & prayers.
When we visited him in Sydney hospital, he still had his big smile & smart remarks.
Louis has touched so many hearts throughout Cape Breton & parts of Nova Scotia. His food melted in your mouth, his kindness was above & beyond special, he cherished everyone he met, stranger or not. Louis had a heart of gold & loved his family & friends no matter what.
Dearest cousin, seeing the suffering you went through from May until your passing was very hard to see.
I’m so happy I got to spend some time with you while home on vacation.

As I’m reading this I’m going over all the wonderful memories of Louie that I have.
What stands out the most for me is that Louie never forgot who you were. Years could pass without seeing him and the minute you saw him it was like no time had passed.
No matter where or when you saw him he always greeted you with a smile and a hug. Louie gave the best hugs.
My condolence to Loretta, all his family and friends. The community lost a true pillar ❤️
Lena and Brenda Gerrior
No matter were we met, a hug was always the result. There are so many beautiful memories but the best was when my sisters and mom and myself had a dinner at his restaurant, he always came and sat with us...I can still hear his laughter as we shared stories...a memory we will always have. You will be missed sweet Louie. Rest with the angels until we meet again.
My sincere condolences to Louie’s wife and Family and close friends.
Three things that come to mind when I think of Louie are: loving, kind and that mouth lol I think it was worst than mine. But you were one of the best. Two of the last times I saw you I was giving you a shoulder massage at the restaurant to, well, in the hospital where you were pretending to be asleep and when I went to wake you, I got a mouthful. Ahahaha. I loved you as everyone that knew you.
Rest in peace my friend.
Gloria
