Obituary of Marie Therese Samson

SAMSON, Marie Therese, 79 of Petit de Grat It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Marie Therese Samson of Petit de Grat that passed away on November 27th, 2025. Born in Petit de Grat, she was the daughter of the late Simon Godfrey and Mary Elizabeth (Boudreau) David. Marie is survived by her loving husband Joseph Harold Samson, Petit de Grat; daughter Dana (Barry) Tracey, Petit de Grat; son Dannie Samson, Petit de Grat; grandchildren Brandon Tracey, Petit de Grat and Dylan Tracey (Bailee Sampson), Halifax. Sisters-in-Law Evelyn (Omer) Samson, Petit de Grat, Ella (Chester) Samson, D’Escousse, Shirley (Jacques) Martell, West Arichat, Ethel (Paul) Dorey, West Arichat, Linda (Vernie) Boudreau, Boudreauville, Mina Deveau, Arichat. Brother-in-Law Mark (Brenda) Samson, Arichat, as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Marie is predeceased by her brother Alfred in infancy; sisters Mary Rose (Gordon), Pardy, Cecile (Bernard) Sampson; sister-in-law Denise (Dave) Boudreau; in-laws Mary-Mae and Laurence Samson; Nephew Gordon Jr. Pardy, Niece Laurie-Ann Samson. Cremation has taken place. A funeral mass will take place on Wednesday, December 3rd at St. Joseph’s Church in Petit de Grat at 11am with Rev. Duaine Devereaux officiating. Committal to follow in Star of the Sea Columbarium, Petit de Grat. Marie was long-time member of the St. Joseph’s C.W.L. Memorial donations in her memory can be made to St. Joseph’s C.W.L or the St. Joseph’s Parish Renovation Fund. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to C. H. Boudreau Funeral Home, Arichat.
