Condolences
Accept our condolences for this lovely lady, I worked with Annette many years ago in Public Health and although we haven’t seen each other very much over the years our encounters were always enjoyable and she was so proud of her family and their accomplishments. Cherish your memories and know she will watch over you. Rest in peace.
I was very saddened to hear of Annette’s passing. I knew Annette for many years, through our work in various roles, within the Continuing Care Branch. She was a fun person to work with and you could always depend on her to get the job done. We used to greet each other with “how’s it going good buddy?”. My sincere condolences to Annette’s family. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Heartfelt condolences to Alan Joey, Frank, Rene, family, friends and coworkers of Annette. She was a deeply love lady by so many. Her obituary speaks of her kindness, Community involvement, and a friend to so many. Rest peacefully Annette. I will always have such fond memories of your positive energy and free spirit. Much love to all her family on their great loss!! Gerri Samson
Our deepest condolences to Allan, Frankie, Joey, Rene, Annette’s siblings: Claire, Monique, Pierre and families.
In this moment, as I share these words,I know we are saying goodbye to a dear friend. Annette and I have known each other for many years - our fathers worked side by side for Nova Scotia Power and as the years passed, our husbands became friends too, sharing work and travel. Annette was a source of wisdom, always easy to talk to, with a spark of humour that lit every conversation. Her kindness knew no limits, and I will forever cherish the memories we created together. She will be deeply missed, and we will always carry her memory with us.

I met Annette and her wonderful husband last Christmas at a VON Volunteer Christmas gathering. It didn’t take long to determine that she was a wonderful woman who cared very much for her family.
Please accept my sincere condolences and know that an entire community and county is mourning your tremendous loss.
To Allan,Joey, Frank, Rene and families, Claire,Monique, Pierre and families our condolences on the loss of your dear one. Annette was a joyous and caring person who was a model for health care workers. She will be missed not only by you, the family but by her former co-workers and the community-at-large. I knew Annette for decades and last spoke to her at the end of Mass in Petit de Grat in March
at which time, knowing that I was also dealing with the C-word she advised me to not let it change my lifestyle. Little that I knew that was sicker than she appeared to be. God bless you, Annette and rest in peace. You certainly fought the good fight.
Unfortunately, we will not be able to attend the funeral service as we are in Toronto for medical reasons.

Annette and I started the same time with Public Health and reunited later at Continuing Care. She was my Costco card partner for many years and together we made a large contribution to that business. She was kind, funny, considerate and very clever. In Placement she carried out policy with a humane and caring hand. My thoughts are with her family as you cope with this enormous loss. She was a good friend.
Allan and family,
We send our sincere condolences to you all. Annette was such a sweet person with a heart of gold. The love she had for all of you was immeasurable. She was part of our card making class. We shared many good times. I remember dropping by to see her newly renovated craft room which she was so proud of. I will miss our times together and her infectious laugh. Cherish your memories and I am sure she will always be walking besides you. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers at this very difficult time. Rest in Peace Annette….

Annette was the breath of fresh air that our provincial placement team, under continuing care, needed. We were struggling to implement a new computer system and of course, the multitude of changes that COVID brought about. I believe this was the second time she had come out of retirement? I was not fortunate to actually meet her face to face but enjoyed many wonderful conversations as she shared her knowledge as a previous manager at St. Anne Centre and as a previous manager of placement. There were many things I did not about her but I did know how much she loved her family! The grandchildren were her greatest joy! I am so sorry that you have lost that tangible love here on Earth! Our loved ones may leave us but their love never dies! I hope that you can find some comfort in that.
I wish I had gotten an opportunity to hear her sing! Sail on Annette! Peaceful seas await!
Dear Allan and families,

May you find comfort, support and love from family and friends to get through this most difficult time of great loss and grief. It will not be an easy road ahead but she is out of pain and she’s with God. Sending lots of love of prayers. May you Rest In Peace my dear friend.
Annette accepted the prognosis given to her knowingly with grace and humility. May her reward be as anticipated by her faith, everlasting in God’s Mercy. Please accept our sincere condolences to her family and friends. Earl and Judy Doyle

Annette was a dedicated volunteer driver, delivering meals to the people of Isle Madame.
We didn't get the chance to properly thank Annette for donating her time to help people in her community, but her care and attention to detail with our clients was admirable and did not go unnoticed.
She will be deeply missed and always remembered by all of us at VON - Richmond County.
Our sincerest condolences go out to Allan, the family, and all who knew Annette.
With love,

How to say goodbye to Annette with a personality that filled every room with laughs, sarcasm, jokes, and a good time? I hear her laugh so clearly and am forever grateful for our last visit over Easter where she showed charm, smiles, and courage. So lucky to have many childhood memories with all the Fougere’s. Annette allowed me to be myself and always showed interest in my career as a Nurse. Never judgemental. I admired her so much.
To Allan, Joey, Frankie and Rene (and all the families) - the void is immeasurable. She was so loved. We are here for you to remind you of the light she was to everyone who knew her. Love Janelle, Dan and boys

Dear Allan, Joey, Frankie, Rene, and families, I am thinking of you all at this very difficult time. Annette hired me as her admin support and was truly the best boss I could have ever been blessed to have. This amazing lady was head over both Intake and Placement with Continuing Care, and there was nothing she couldn’t take on. She taught me so much and was not only my boss, but my friend. You all have a very special angel watching over you all with so much love and pride. RIP Annette and keep singing my friend.

Annette and I worked together over many years. She had many roles in Continuing Care over the course of her career, we even worked together closely when she was Administrator at St. Anne Centre. In her last position she was a fabulous manager of the Placement Coordinator team. She was intelligent, techy, and had an abundance of common sense. We had lots of laughs and great chats. I was fortunate to call her my friend.
Rest Easy my friend.
