Obituary of Mary Valerie Kehoe

Kehoe, Mary Valerie, of Arichat It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Valerie Kehoe on April 19, 2026, at her residence at St. Anne’s Community Centre in Arichat. Born in Port Royal on March 30, 1937, she was the daughter of the late William and Mary Lillian (DeYoung) Rogers. Valerie enjoyed bingo, her television shows and a labatts blue beer with a good game of cards. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Valerie is survived by many nieces and nephews; her Godchild and caretaker for over 20 years, Cathy Dorey-Richard. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Gerald Kehoe; brothers Carl, Melvin and Allan Rogers; sisters Delrose Marchand, Verena Dorey, Maisie Sullivan, Eilleen Rogers and Annette in infancy. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or funeral mass per request. A private family burial will take place in St. Hyacinth Cemetery, D’Escousse at a later date. Funeral arrangements entrusted to C. H. Boudreau Funeral Home Ltd., in Arichat.
