Forest, Leonard Joseph -71, passed away peacefully on June 23, 2015 at St. Martha's Regional Hospital, Antigonish. Born in Lochside, he was the son of the late Howard and Anita (Forest) Edwards. He is survived by his wife Twila, my children; grandchildren; brothers and sisters; godchild Lorna Mattie and his Aunt Greta Forrest. Visitation will be held in C. H. Boudreau Funeral Home in Arichat on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Assumption Church in Arichat on Friday morning at 11 with Rev. Doug MacDonald officiating. Burial to follow in Our Lady of Assumption Parish Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association (NS) or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation (NS). A reception will be held at Our Lady of Assumption Parish Hall following the committal.
