It is with regret that we have to announce the passing of Dennis James Mauger, 66, of West Arichat, that occurred at the Strait Richmond Hospital in Evanston on September 4, 2015. Born in Halifax, he was the son of the late John James Jr. and Esther Margaret (Olsen) Mauger. Dennis is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Mary (Murray); brothers, Howard (Beverly), Cape Laronde, Warren (Jane), Louisdale, Billy (Leah), Langley, BC; sisters, Jean Bonin, Cape Laronde, Margaret Roukens (Mario), Ontario, Claire White (Jimmy), Dartmouth. He was predeceased by his brother, Wayne. Visitation will be held in C. H. Boudreau Funeral Home in Arichat on Sunday evening, from 7 - 9 pm., from where Funeral Service will be at 2 p.m. on Monday, with Minister Jeff Reason officiating. Committal to follow in St. John Anglican Cemetery, Arichat. A reception will be held in C. H. Boudreau Funeral Home following the committal.
