BABIN, Albany Elias, 72 - St. Peter's formerly of Cape Auguet
We regret to announce the death of Albany Elias Babin which occurred at St. Martha's Regional Hospital in Antigonish on May 26, 2016. Born in Arichat, he was the son of the late Joseph Albani and Mary Bernadette (Boudreau) Babin. Elias is survived by his daughter Shelly Cameron(Alex), Antigonish; son Albany (Melinda), Antigonish; grandchildren Melissa, Michael, Kyle, Kier; great granddaughter Peyton; brothers John (Beverly), Clarence, Quebec, Alphonse, Trenton, Francis(Tina), Stewiacke, Leo(Donna), River Bourgeois; sisters Claire Legault(Jean-Claude), Ste Martine, QC. Ann Turner, New Glasgow, Marie Layes and Margaret Greenlaw, both of Trenton, Cecille Babineau(Claude), Dartmouth. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by sister Mathilda and brother-in-law John Greenlaw and Huntley Turner. There will be no visitation by request. Funeral mass will be held in Our Lady of Assumption Church, Arichat on Monday at 11am with Rev. Doug MacDonald officiating. Committal to follow in Our Lady of Assumption Parish Cemetery, Arichat. Reception to follow committal in Our Lady of Assumption Parish Hall, Arichat. Memorial donations can be made to the charity of one's choice. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to C. H.
