Obituary of Albany Joseph Landry

Landry, Albany Joseph "Bennie" - Louisdale It is with heavy hearts that the family of Albany Joseph "Bennie" Landry, age 90, of Louisdale, announces his passing on October 21, 2016 at home, with his loving family at his side. Born in Louisdale, he was the son of the late Felix Joseph and Helene Nellie (Marchand) Landry. Bennie was the founding owner/operator of Landry's Brothers Home Hardware in Louisdale for 35 years. He will be forever missed by his loving wife of 60 years, Estelle Marie (Samson) Landry; daughter, Lillian Ann Landry, (Brian), Mississauga, Ontario; sons, Terrence Joseph (Margaret), Georgetown, Ontario, David Gregory (Phyllis), Louisdale; grandchildren Matthew, Ryan, Josh, Kyle, Ashley, Amy; great-grandchildren, Samantha, Alex, Jordyn, Ellie; brothers, Narcisse (Eileen), Clarence (Marie), both of Louisdale; sisters, Hortense Landry, Viola Landry, both of Louisdale. Bennie was predeceased by great-grandchildren, twins, Benjamin and Cameron; sister Amelia Marchand; brother-in-law's, Lawrence Marchand, Quinten Landry, Ned Landry. Visitation will be held in St, Louis Catholic Church in Louisdale on Tuesday evening, October 25th from 6 - 9 p.m., from where Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday October 26th at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Callistus Abazie officiating. Burial to take place in St. Louis Parish Cemetery, Louisdale. Memorial donations can be made to St. Louis Parish Building Fund.
