Obituary of Darren Ralph Theriault

THERIAULT, Darren Ralph- 47, Arichat It is with heavy sadness that we announce the passing of Darren Ralph Theriault, 47, of Arichat on August 24, 2017 at the QEII Hospital in Halifax, NS. Born August 10, 1970, he was the son of Ralph and Geraldine Theriault of Arichat, NS. Besides his parents, Darren will be deeply missed by his wife Michelle and daughters Marielle and Micheline; his sister Lynn Theriault and partner Bryan Duguid; his brother Giles Theriault and wife Annick. Darren will also be missed by his friends and family whom he valued deeply including his many cousins and extended family, his circle of friends who shared his love for music and his work "family" at NuStar terminals in Point Tupper, NS. Darren was a kind, loyal, generous and witty person. He especially enjoyed motor sports, swimming and guitar. Music came naturally to him from a young age and he was an incredibly talented, yet always humble, musician. Darren was a devoted husband and father, and passed his many loves and traits onto his two daughters, whom he cherished. There will be no visitation. Funeral mass will take place Friday, September 1st at 10:30a.m. in Our Lady of Assumption Church, Arichat with Rev. Antolin Asur officiating. Burial to follow in Our Lady of Assumption Parish Cemetery, Arichat. A reception will be held at the New Horizon's Seniors Club on Highway 206 in Arichat following the committal.
