Obituary of Lillian Agnes LeBlanc

Leblanc, Lillian Agnes, Louisdale We regret to announce the passing of Lillian Agnes LeBlanc of Louisdale which occurred at her residence in the Port Hawkesbury Nursing Home on January 28, 2024. Born July 27, 1944, in Louisdale, she was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Gladys (Brow) LeBlanc. Agnes worked at the Richmond Villa for many years and owned and operated a home for Special Care in Louisdale. She enjoyed going for drives and every road trip would lead to a new restaurant, yard sales, and a good deal. She also loved fishing at the lake. She is survived by her brothers, Clarence, Lester (Lee), and Earl (Pat); sister Louise (Gordie) Campbell. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers Francis, Wilfred Jr., and Peter; sisters Virginia, Violet, and Evelyn. Visitation will be held in the Glen Sampson Room in Louisdale on Friday, February, 9th from 6-8 pm, and on Saturday, February 10th, from 9:30 till 10:30 am. Funeral Mass to Celebrate the Life of Agnes will be held on Saturday, February 10th, at 11 am in St. Louis Church, Louisdale with Rev. Duncan MacIsaac officiating. Burial will take place at a later date in St. Louis Parish Cemetery, Louisdale. A reception will follow in the St. Louis Parish Hall. Memorial donations can be made to the Cape Breton Healthcare Complex Palliative Care Service at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital in Sydney. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to C.H.
