GILES, Keith Richard, Cap La Ronde
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Keith Richard Giles of Cap La Ronde which occurred at the Strait Richmond Hospital in Evanston on March 27th, 2024
Born October 22, 1931, in Halifax, he was the son of the late Clarence Richard and Melrose Delora (Preeper) Giles.
Keith is survived by his daughter Verta Martell, Timberlea; sons Ron (Jane), Bedford, Ernie, Hubbards, Michael (Cory), Timberlea; grandchildren Colin, Kelly, Adam, Lauren, Quinn, Liam, Jenna, Devin, great grandson Seth and many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Keith was predeceased by his wife Evangeline Mary (Burke) Giles; brothers John, Burton, Ronald, Fred; sisters Edith, Jean, Jessie, Nettie and Pearl.
Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or funeral per request. A private burial will take place a later date.
Memorial donations can be made to the Strait Richmond Palliative Care Society or to the charity of one’s choice.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt Thank You to the Doctors, Nurses and Staff of Strait Richmond Hospital for the care and comfort that they provided to Dad during his final days.
