Obituary of Daniel William Martell

Martell, Daniel William (Bill) - 89, St. Peters, died at his home in St. Peters on July 22, 2007.. Born in Rockdale, he was the son of the late Dan and Madeline (Landry ) Martell. He served in WW2 on the Restigouche, after he moved to Idaho for 14 years, where he became a car salesman. He then moved to Montreal where he was employed by Simpson's, from where he retired. He moved back to St. Peters in 2006. He is survived by chosen daughter Debbie Hodgson, Montreal: sisters Elizabeth Jane Stone, Margaret Pottie and Melinda Martell all of St. Peters, chosen granddaughter Jessica Campbell ( John ) , Montreal Numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by companion Marjorie Hodgson sisters: Cecile Goudreault, Theresa Stone, brother Victor. Visitation will be held in the Richmond Villa , St. Peters on Wednesday 7-9 p.m.. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday morning at 10:30 in the Richmond Villa Chapel, St. Peters with Rev. Barrett Clare Johnson officiating. Burial to take place in the Holy Guardian Parish Cemetery, L'ardoise. Memorial donations can be made Richmond Villa Activity Fund. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the C.H.
