Candles
Charles was the most compassionate person is so many ways. There are many things about him that were driven by that compassion. The way he'd worry if it was dark and you had to drive home, if you'd like a cup of tea and of course a sweet, If it was cold and you had to work..this list is endless. The first day I met Charles he was ever so nice to me and it never changed from one day to the next, always the same, and always greeted you from his rocking chair with nothing less then a smile and a wave. I truly believe Charles had a genuine love for people. Thats just people he knew, but when he talked about his family, His eyes got so bright and the smiles never left his face until he was done his story...You could tell it was something he was so proud of and you knew it was something he held dear to his heart. I pray for you all to find the same strengh within yourselves that Charles had when he needed it in his life and comfort while you endure this difficult time. All our love and sympathy.
(Also, Im to understand that Heaven is a wonderful place, and I can't help but wonder if he's eaten mash potatoes yet..:)
