Dear Van Luongs, we are so sorry for your loss. Minh had so much talent & patience. He will be greatly missed on Isle Madame. I can remember my dad heading up to Minh's shop for a quick errand & returning hours later after much interesting conversation with Minh. This was one of his greatest gifts. I met Minh about 30 years ago. He always had a ready smile and story to tell me. We would occasionally see each other and he never failed to ask about my family and fill me in on his family. He was always so proud of their accomplishments and independence. My deepest condolences to the family.

Our sincere condolences to the Luong family on the loss of a dear husband and father. In conversations with Minh, I soon realized that while he lived and loved Canada, his heart was in Viet Nam as he was forever encouraging us to visit his homeland. Fortunately for us, Minh came to Isle Madame and stayed, forever demonstrating a great entrepreneurial drive and loyalty to our community. He came, not to a wonderful waiting job, but with a determination and uncanny ability to provide needed services and creating job opportunities for others. As a father, he shared with me his desire to see his three children excel academically in preparation for successful careers and to that end, he claimed to be uncompromising. Hanh, Loan, and Thai you have certainly made him proud as all of you excelled academically and are now engaged in successful careers in the medical field and in the world of business. We know that you have been deeply moved by the loss of your loved one. During this trying time in your lives, you are in our thoughts and in our prayers. We hope that time will slowly erase the pain in your hearts and unveil the memories of happy times.
Our deepest and heartfelt sympathies at ths difficult time of your sudden loss.
When Minh arrived in Canada with his three brothers, I met them at the airport in Sydney and they stayed with me in my home on the Low Road. They lived with me for a month. From the very first day he showed an irrepressible ingenuity and resourcefulness. It was a pleasure and extremely insightful for me to grow to know Minh. My heartfelt sympathy to all of the family.
So sorry to hear of Minh's passing. We will miss his friendly demeanor and hearty conversations. He was truly a self-made man, true to his convictions and devoted to his family. Our condolences to his family as you journey through your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. May he rest in etenal peace in the presence of Our Lord.
thoughts and Prayers are with you all at this difficult time.He will always be remembered for the kind person that he was.Rentals will never be the same..
Minh spent many hours at Jack and Peggy's home giving lectures on politics, business and anything else that was on his mind. I had the great honour of knowing the love he felt for his homeland, his chosen community and most of all his family. Minh chose to live, work and raise his family in Arichat, and I think the community is very fortunate to call the Van Luong's our own. We will miss his laughter, his big ideas, and his determination to always do better. My family's thoughts and prayers are with your family at this time of loss.
