Obituary of Mary Blandine David

DAVID, MARY BLANDINE - 80, Alderney Point, passed away February 20, 2012 at the Strait Richmond Hospital in Evanston, Born in Petit De Grat, she was the daughter of the late Johnnie D. and Mary E. (Boudreau) Samson. Blandine was the former owner and operator David's Mini Mart in Alderney Point for many years, She is survived by her daughter, Carol Shanahan (Frank), Cloverdale, B.C.; sons, Victor, Arichat, Gary (Mary Anne), Petit De Grat, Kenneth, Alderney Point; grandchildren, Annette, Claudette, Shawn (Terri), Kevin (Skye), Gerry (Michelle), Angel (Ryan), Joy (Nick), Evan, Jason, Dawn and Jalisa; great grandchildren, Stephanie, Devon, Brendan, Jenna, Kortney, Ethan, Christopher, Joey, Rylin, Baylee, Felicia, Haley and Courtney; sisters, Kathleen Samson, Little Anse, Delta Fraser, Arichat, Viola Perry, Petit De Grat, Jacqueline Marchand (Cornelius), Louisdale, Laura Samson (Cletus), B.C.; brothers, Anthony (Sylvia), Poirierville, and Abel, Alderney Point. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Amedee and son William. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held in C.H. Boudreau Funeral Home in Arichat on Friday, February 24, 2012 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday morning February 25, 2012 in St. Joseph's Church in Petit De Grat at 11 a.m. with Rev. Will MacPherson officiating. Burial in the Star of the Sea Cemetery in Petit De Grat at a later date.
