Halfpenny, Marie Corinne -77, Port Royal, passed away peacefully April 19, 2012 at St. Martha Regional Hospital , Antigonish, with her loving family by her side.Born in D'Escousse, she was a daughter of the late Anthony James and Irene Rose (Doirion) LeBlanc. Corinne is survived by her daughters: Donna and Debbie both of Port Royal ,Wanda McKenna (Jim) New Glasgow, and Susan Hale, Mississauga, Ont; sons Shawn ,Antigonish, Kevin (Sarah) Toronto; grandchildren, Rachel, Bethany, Joshua, Matthew, Kenzie and Cole; great grandson Sebastian; sisters Doris Bonin and Peggy Bourque(Peter) both of Port Royal. She was predeceased her husband Lyman Willard Halfpenny; sister Anna Marie. There will be no visitation by request.
Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday morning at 11:00 a.m. in the Immaculate Conception Church, West Arichat, with Rev. Angus MacDougall officiating. Burial to follow in the Immaculate Conception Parish Cemetery, West Arichat. Memorial donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation(NS). Funeral arrangements are entrusted to C.H.
