Obituary of Mary Berthilda Boudreau

Boudreau, Mary Berthilda, 72, Alderney Point passed away peacefully on July29 at the Strait Richmond Hospital, Evanston with her loving family by her side after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Petit De Grat, she was the daughter of the late Hyacinthe and Jeannette (Arsenault) Samson. Berthilda was a member of St. Joseph's C.W.L., was very active with the Island Girls "Run for the Cure" Relay for Life and also with the Cerebral Palsy Association. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 54 years, Joseph Nicholas; daughters, Cynthia (Marcel) Landry, Louisdale, Judy (Norman) Fougere, Arichat; sons, Chet (Denise), Halifax, Weldon (Ramona), St. Margaret's Bay; grandchildren, Garrett, Craig, Jennifer, Nylan, Jenna, Jayden and Josée; great grand-daughter, Sadie; brother, Patrick, Petit De Grat, sister, Muriel Berthier, Petit De Grat; also surviving is her extended family Eugene Benoit and family. she was predeceased by her sisters Anita and Corrine; brothers, Adam, Lloyd and Noel in infancy. Visitation will be held in C.H. Boudreau Funeral Home, 633 Veteran's Memorial Drive, Arichat on Wednesday, August 1st from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and on Thursday morning from 9 - 10:30. The Funeral Mass for Berthilda will be held in St. Joseph's Church in Petit De Grat. Date and time will be posted on www.chboudreau.com when arrangements have been completed . Burial will take place at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to Strait Richmond Hospital Palliative Care Society or to St. Anne Community & Nursing Care Centre in Arichat.
