Obituary of Vernon Carl Marchand

Marchand, Vernon Carl, - 62 Louisdale It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Vernon who passed away at St. Martha's Regional Hospital in Antigonish on September 22, 2007, surrounded by the love of his family and friends. Born in Louisdale, he was the son of Mary (Samson), Louisdale, and the late Alphonse T. Marchand. He is survived by his daughter Paula (Joe) Boucher, Chelmsford, Mass; sons Carl (Martha), Hubbards, Keith (fiancée Beth), Santa Clara, California, and their mother Judy Marchand, Poulamon. His four grandchildren were the love of his life, Emma, James, Cassidy and Logan; He is also survived by his sisters, Eleanor (Edwin) Landry, Claire (David) Jeffrey; brothers, James ( Brenda), Lorne ( Betty ), Valdore (companion Janasta ), all of Louisdale, and several loving nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held in the Glen Samson Room, Louisdale on Tuesday, September 25th, from 2-4 & 7-9pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday afternoon at 2 pm in St Louis Church in Louisdale, September 26th with Rev. Angus MacDougall officiating. Memorial donations can be made to the Strait Richmond Palliative Care Society in Evanston, or to a charity of ones choice. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the C.H.
