Obituary of Allane Veronica Bennett

Bennett, Allane Veronica - 78 of St Peter's, formerly of L'Ardoise. It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend on September 1, 2012 at St. Martha's Regional Hospital in Antigonish. Allane (Tracey) Bennett was born on January 14, 1934 to the late Edward and Yvonne (Green) Tracey. She married the late Amos Bennett on June 24, 1953 and together they raised 13 children. She was a very loving person who enjoyed spending time with her family. She is survived by her sons, Gerard (Natalie) Lr. L'Ardoise; Ross (Faith) River Bourgeois; Barry (Joy) Sampsonville; Raymond, Edmonton Alb.; Philip, Moncton, N.B.; David, (Anne) Edmonton, Alb.; John (Sandy) Nanimo, B.C. ; daughters, Anna Marie (Tommy) Bona, L'Ardoise; Christine (James) Berrette, Rockdale; Mary Louise O'Brien, Kentville; Ellen Patton, Kentville; Caroline (Jimmy) Webb, L'Ardoise; Jennifer (Shawn) Hill, Lr. Sackville. She also leaves behind to mourn her passing, 23 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held in the Holy Guardian Angel Church, L'Ardoise on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at 10 am with Rev. L. Mariadoss officiating. Burial to follow in the Holy Guardian Angel Cemetery, L'Ardoise. Memorial donations can be made to the Strait Richmond Palliative Care Society or to the charity of one's choice.
