Obituary of Lacey Marie Boyce

Lacey Marie Boyce lived for nine months in the safety and closeness of her mother's heart. She was the infant daughter of Geoff and Lynn ( Johnson ) Boyce and a sister to Savannah. Kelsey, Tyler, Shane and Raylene, all of Chapel Island. Although she was here for just a heartbeat, Lacey impacted the lives of so many people around her, especially her parents. She was a beautiful little personality just waiting to be born. Lacey is also survived by her grandparents John D. and Agnes Johnson, Chapel Island, Theda Boyce, Wentworth, and George and Linda Boyce, North River and great-grandfather, John McGee, Tatamagouche; many uncles and aunties and numerous cousins. Waiting to greet their newest great-granddaughter in heaven are Grammy, Raylene McGee formerly of Tatamagouche; and Ester and Richard Johnson of Chapel Island. She will also be greeted by her two uncles, Richard and Terry (Indian) Johnson who so loved babies while they we on earth. Lacey will be surrounded by the people who loved her the most, her family, before she travels on her journey to heaven. There will be an opportunity to start the healing process for everyone impacted by this precious little life at her parent's home starting Tuesday afternoon after 4:00 p.m. at 339 Backland Rd, Chapel Island, followed by a Christian Celebration of Life on Wednesday morning at 11:00 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, Barra Head. Lacey was a tiny pioneer in so many ways, and for this reason her final resting place will be in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Barra Head.
