Sampson. Helaire Michael "Menousse"- 89 St. Peter's, formerly of Louisdale passed away at his residence at the Richmond Villa in St. Peter's on November 7, 2007
Born in Louisdale, he was a son of the late Michael and Sabine Rose (Samson) Sampson. Helaire had a great love for fiddle music and step-dancing. He is survived by brothers, Francis, Petit De Grat, Joseph and Felix both of Ontario; sisters Theresa Boudreau, Antigonish, Sabine Rose (Simon) Landry, Louisdale, Mary Sampson, Toronto; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Walter, Freddie, Arthur, Michael and Thomas; sister Rose (Mary Ann) Joyce; half-brothers, John, Wilfred, Albert, Joseph and half-sister, Mary LeBlanc. Visitation will be held in St. Louis Church in Louisdale from 11am �" 1pm on Friday, from where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2pm, with Rev. Angus MacDougall officiating. Burial to follow in St. Louis Parish Cemetery, Louisdale. Special gratitude is extended to the nursing staff of the Richmond villa and to Dr. Tan, for the excellent care given to Helaire during his stay at the Villa.
