Arthur Vollmer of Janvrin´s Island passed away peacefully on December 26th. He was born in Germany in 1930. Later, Arthur was proud to have become a Canadian citizen. He is survived by his wife, Maria, son Ingo and daughter-in-law, Anita. He was predeceased by daughter, Elka and his sister Lo. Arthur was a community-minded person whose jovial spirit will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or funeral. A gathering to celebrate Arthur's life will be held at the Janvrin´s Island Community Centre on Saturday, December 29th at 1:00.
Arrangements are entrusted to the C.H. Boudreau Funeral Home in Arichat.
