Obituary of Anna Marie Bourque

Bourque, Anna M. "Annie Mae" - 98, of Arichat, formerly of River Bourgeois passed away April 18, 2013 at her residence in St. Anne Community & Nursing Care Centre in Arichat. Born in River Bourgeois, she was the daughter of the late Abraham and Henrietta (Boudreau) Landry. Annie Mae is survived by daughters, Hattie (Omer) Samson, Little Anse, Agnes (Joey) Casey, Little Dover, Phyllis, Halifax; sons, Gerald, River Bourgeois, Peter (Sharon) Whiteside; step-son Joseph, California; grandchildren, Lisa (Bradley) Benoit, Lydia (Garnet) Boudreau, Vaughan (Georgette) Samson, Vaughn Casey, Ryan and Krystal Burke; great-grandchildren, Sasha and Brittany Benoit, Spencer and Taylor Green, Alexis and Austina Samson. She was predeceased by husband, Amable "Mabie"; daughter Elizabeth; step-son Carman; sisters Alvina and Charlotte; brothers, Bastian, Charlie, Wilfred, Clifford, Elias and Raymond. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 21, 2013 from 2 - 9pm in the River Bourgeois Community Funeral Home, River Bourgeois. Mass of Christian Farewell to celebrate the life of Anne Mae will be held Monday morning, April 22, 2013 in St. John the Baptist Church, River Bourgeois at 11am will Rev. Denis Lamey officiating. Burial to follow in St. John the Baptist Parish Cemetery, River Bourgeois. Family flowers only please. The family requests that memorial donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society (NS), Canadian Diabetes Association (NS) or to St. Anne Community & Nursing Care Centre Recreation Department.
