Obituary of Mary Louise Paon

Paon, Mary Louise - 93, Arichat. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Louise on April 30, 2013 at the Strait Richmond Hospital in Evanston. Born in Boudreauville, she was a daughter of the late Edward Joseph and Marguerite (Fougere) Boudreau. Louise was a strong, independent, thoughtful, caring woman. Of her various jobs, her most enjoyable was as a cafeteria worker at Isle Madame District High which she held until her retirement. Whenever she wasn't at home, you could always find her at Pondville Beach- a place she loved and claimed was her "medicine". Louise will be sadly missed by her daughters, Janet (Mike) Landry, West Arichat and Judith Paon, Halifax; sister Agnes (Al) Krauth, Montreal; brother, Donald Boudreau, Lower Sackville. She was predeceased by her husband Colin Placide Paon; daughter, Pauline Lundy; son, James; sisters, Cecile, Mary in infancy, Bernadette Morrison; brothers, Martin, Amos, Mark, Paul, Henry and Simon in infancy. There will be no visitation by request. Funeral Mass to celebrate the life of Louise will be held on Saturday morning, May 11nd at 11 am, in Our Lady of Assumption Church, Arichat with Rev. Andrew Gillies officiating. Burial to follow in Our Lady of Assumption Parish Cemetery, Arichat. Family flowers only please. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the C.H.
