Forrest, Marie Jean - 94, of Troy, formerly of Pondville, passes away peacefully at the Strait Richmond Hospital in Evanston with her loving family by her side. Born Pondville, she was a daughter of the late Edward Ned and Eva Jane (Louis) Landry. She is survived by her godchild Leonard Forrest (Twila), of Troy who were Marie's caregivers for the past 7 years ; brother, Leonard Landry,(Lottie), New Glasgow. She was predeceased by her husband, Albert. Visitation will be held in C.H. Boudreau Funeral Home, Arichat on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Mass of Christian Farewell will be held at Friday morning at 11, in Our Lady of Assumption Church, Arichat, with Rev. Andrew Gillies officiating. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Assumption Parish Cemetery, Arichat. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Annie, to Our Lady of Assumption Cemetery Fund.
