Obituary of Angela Olive Burke

Burke, Angela Olive - 98, of St Peter's, formerly of River Bourgeois, passed away peacefully at her residence in the Richmond Villa in St. Peter's on Tuesday, October 15, 2013. Born in River Bourgeois, she was the daughter of the late William and Mary (Boudreau) Robertson. She is the last surviving member of her immediate family. Angela always looked forward to playing Bingo with her best friend of 30 years, Monica Stone. She loved going to dinner and visiting with her Grandchildren was always a highlight of her day. She is survived by daughters, Shirley Cordick (Dick), Lanark, Ontario, Judy Davey, Dartmouth, Doreen (Brian Barkhouse), River Bourgeois; sons, Allan (Jeanne), Dartmouth, David, St Peter's, John (Jackie), Oakville, Ontario, Lloyd (Cynthia), St Peter's; fifteen grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren; She was predeceased by her husband Charles; daughter Kathleen; son in laws Gerard and Paul. Visitation will be held Friday, October 18, 2013 at the River Bourgeois Community Funeral Home, River Bourgeois from 2-4 and 7- 9. Funeral Mass to celebrate the life of Angela will take place at St. John the Baptist Church, River Bourgeois Saturday morning at 11 a.m. with Rev. Dennis Lamey officiating. Burial to follow in St. John The Baptist Parish Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to the St John the Baptist Church New Furnace Fund. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to C.H.
