Obituary of Joseph Albert Samson

It's with great sadness that we the family of Joseph Albert Samson, 52 of Little Anse, have to announce his passing on Dec. 24, 2013 at the Strait Richmond Hospital in Evanston surrounded by his loving family. Born in Arichat, Albert was the son of Catheline (Samson), Little Anse and the late Leo Samson. Albert was a kind and loving man with a big heart. He loved dancing, going for long drives and fishing. He was a member of AA for almost 10 years and in that time he helped countless people with their struggles. Albert was very strong willed with a positive outlook on life and he shared his positive attitude with others who were going through similar situations. Albert always put others above himself. Besides his mother, he is survived by siblings Gerry (Karen) Halifax, Angela (Reg) Moncton, Herman (Aline) Little Anse & Bradley (Shirley) Arichat along with 9 nieces & nephews including 2 God-daughters as well as 8 great-nieces & nephews. Besides his father he was predeceased by his sister Deborah Samson & 2 nephews, Daniel & Kenneth Pitcher.visitation will take place on Sunday December 29, 2013 from 2-4 & 7-9 at CH Boudreau Funeral Home, Arichat. Funeral mass will be held on Monday December 30, 2013 at 11:00 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Petit de Grat with Rev. Andrew Gillies officiating.
