Obituary of Mary Theresa Landry

It is with saddened hearts that we the family, have to announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother and great-grandmother at the MacGillivray Guest Home iin Sydney on January 10, 2014. Born in Poulamond, she was the daughter of the late Felix and Josephine (Marchand) Fougere. She is the last surviving member of her immediate family. She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Judy Babin, Arichat; sons, Douglas (Pansy) and Gary (Ellen), both of Sydney; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, James (Jimmie) Wilfred; sisters Evelyn (Tom) Sampson, Anita (Velma) Poirier; brother Joseph Gerald in World War II. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2014 from 2-4 & 7 - 9 pm and on Sunday morning January 19, 2014 from 12:30 - 1:30 in C.H. Boudreau Funeral Home, Arichat. Funeral Service will be held Sunday afternoon at St. Hyacinth Church in D'Escousse at 2 p.m. with Rev. Angus MacDougall officiating.Burial to be held in St Hyacinth Parish Cemetery in D'Escousse at a later date. Memorial donations can be made to the Parkinson Society Maritime Region, Heart & Stroke Foundation (NS) or to the Canadian Diabetes Society (NS).
