Marchand, Anita (Alphonse), 88, Arichat. Passed away peacefully at her home in Arichat surrounded by her loving family on April 4, 2014. Born June 23, 1925 in Arichat, she was the daughter of the late Narcisse and Sabine (Thibeau) Forgeron. Anita was a life time member of the Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary Branch 150, Arichat and also a life time member of the Our Lady of Assumption C.W.L. She loved gardening, fishing, sports, and her special furry friend La Toune who will miss her deeply. Anita will be sadly missed by her daughters Aurine(Johnny) Richard, Giselle(Roy) Richard, both of Arichat; sons Karrol(Karen), Janvrin's Island, Claude(Debbie), Petit de Grat; grandchildren Ryan, Bailey, Angel, Tanya, Drake, Riley, Ivy, Brittany and Brandon; great grandchildren Lacey, Lindsay and Lucas; sister Edwina LeBlanc, Arichat. She was predeceased by her husband Alphonse Edward; great grandchildren Lacey Marchand and Lexton LeBlanc; brother Leo Forgeron. Visitation will be held on Sunday in C.H. Boudreau Funeral Home, Arichat from 2-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday morning at 11:00 in Our Lady of Assumption Church, Arichat with Rev. Andrew Gillies officiating. Burial at a later date. Reception to follow at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 150, Arichat. Memorial donations can be made to St. Anne's Community & Nursing Care Centre or to the Strait Richmond Health Care Foundation. Funeral Arrangements are entrusted to C.H.
