Obituary of Mary Elizabeth Samson

Samson, (Lamay), Mary Elizabeth, 91 - It is with great sadness that we, the family announce the passing our dear mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister who passed away on June 22, 2014 at the Saint John Regional Hospital, in Saint John, NB after a brief illness. Born in Little Anse, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Eugenie (Samson) Boudreau. Mary was a stay at home mom who adored her family. She was loving and caring and put others before herself. Her family will miss her dearly. She is survived by her children Velma (Celeste), Arichat, Phillip Samson, Quispamsis, NB, Terry Samson, Boudreauville and Rose Marie (Ron) Montgomery, Quispamsis, NB; beloved grandchildren, Wayne (Paulette) Samson, Phoebe (Dion) Boudreau, Mindy (Stephen) Melanson, Scott Samson, Jessica (Johnny) Samson, and great grandchildren Tony, Cheyenne, Darcy, Makayla, Brooke, Brayden and Gage; sisters, Hilda Landry and Maude Bourque. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Samson; son Hubert Samson, daughter-in-law Debbie Samson; brothers, Joe, Hilaire and Amedee Boudreau; sisters, Blanche and Alma Samson, Anna Deveau and Marina Marchand. Visitation will be held in C.H. Boudreau Funeral Home in Arichat, on Friday from 2 - 9pm. Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, June 28, 2014 from St. Joseph's Catholic Church, in Petit De Grat at 11am with Rev. Callitus officiating. Interment in the Star of the Sea Cemetery, Petit De Grat.
