Obituary of Anthony Dominic Boudreau

Boudreau, Anthony Dominic "Tony", 81 - Port Royal, passed away suddenly on February 9th at St Martha's Regional Hospital in Antigonish with his loving family by his side. Born in Petit De Grat, he was the son of the late Walter D. and Alma (Boudreau) Boudreau. Tony enjoyed good times and many there were with his family and friends while driving around on his ATV, hunting ducks, fishing and the many good times that were had at his camp. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 57 years, Helen Blanche (Hureau) Boudreau; daughters, Marie Anderson (Paul), Scarborough, Ont., Bonnie Merchant (Vaughan), Sydney, Vivian Starkey (Dennis), Karen Ross (Perry) both of Pictou, Gina Boudreau, Port Royal; son-in-law, André LeBlanc, D'Escousse; grandchildren, Tanya (Joyce) and Kim MacDonald, Blake, Colin and Darcy Ross, Dale (Kate), Craig and Shane Starkey, Isaac and Simon LeBlanc; great grandchild, Jordan MacDonald; brothers, Delmore (Germaine), Peter (Irene), Omer (Debbie), all of Petit De Grat; brother-in-law Clarence Dunn, Brantford, On.; sisters, Etta Vincelette, Magog, Quebec, Olive Martell (Harold), Petit De Grat; sister-in-law Lena Boudreau, Ladner, BC. Besides his parents, Tony was predeceased by his brothers, Roy, Raymond and Joachim; sisters, Dorella and Sarah. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 13th in C.H. Boudreau Funeral Home in Arichat from 3 - 8 pm. Funeral Mass will be held Saturday morning, February 14th in Our Lady of Assumption Church in Arichat at 11 a.m. with Rev. Doug MacDonald officiating. Cremation will take place. Burial will be held in the Acadiaville Columbarium in West Arichat at a later date. Memorial donations can be made to St. Anne Centre Activity Fund.
