Clannon, Mary Catherine, 89 Little Anse. It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Catherine Clannon, which occurred in St. Martha's Regional Hospital in Antigonish on May 21, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Little Anse, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Eva (Marchand) Samson. Catherine was a member of St. Joseph's C.W.L. in Petit de Grat. She is survived by her son Milton (Anne Marie), Little Anse; grandchildren Shelly Kehoe (Michael Kenny), Ben Eoin, Timmy Clannon, Little Anse, Sandy (Nicole) Clannon, Sydney; great grandchildren Nena Laine and Myles Thomas. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Claire (Pertus) Samson, daughter-in-law Joan (Harris) Clannon and numerous nieces and nephews. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Besides her parents, Catherine was predeceased by her brothers James Benoit, Eric, Adelard, Walter and Dannie Samson. Visitation will take place in C.H.Boudreau Funeral Home Ltd, Arichat on Sunday May 24th from 6:00-9:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Petit de Grat Monday afternoon, May 25th, at 2:00pm with Rev. Doug Macdonald officiating. Burial to follow in Star of the Sea Cemetery, Petit de Grat. Reception will be held at St. Joseph's Parish Hall following the burial. Memorial donations can be made to the Star of the Sea Cemetery Fund, Petit de Grat. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to, C.H.Boudreau Funeral Home Ltd, Arichat.
