Obituary of Mary Lillian Landry

LANDRY, Mary Lillian �" 80, Petit De Grat, passed away peacefully on October 6, 2008, in Strait Richmond Hospital, Evanston, with her loving family by her side. Born in Janvrin's Island, she was a daughter of the late Clinton and Elizabeth (Forgeron) George. She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Ralph Joseph Landry; daughter, Gail Sampson (Kirk), D'Escousse; sons, Barry Landry (Wendy), Petit De Grat, Glen Landry (Lorena), Janvrin's Island; sister, Gertie McGrath, Janvrin's Island; brother Willard George (Lorna), Arichat; grandchildren, Robin, Kaylyn, Elliott, Candice, Kallie, Shalyn, and Andy. She was predeceased by her sister, Cecilia McGrath; brother, Clancy George. Visitation will take place in C.H. Boudreau Funeral Home, Arichat, on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and on Friday from 11:30 �" 1:30 p.m. Funeral Mass to celebrate to life of Lillian will be held in St. Joseph's Church, Petit De Grat, Friday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Duaine Devereaux officiating. Burial will be held in Star of the Sea Cemetery, Petit De Grat. Memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society (NS) or to the Strait Richmond Palliative Care Society.
