Nichols, Edith �" 89Arichat, passed away October 7, 2008, at her residence at St. Anne Community & Nursing Care Centre in Arichat. Born in Arichat, she was a daughter of the late Wallace and Bertha Mary (McEachern) Maloney. Edith is the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was predeceased by her husband Harry Robert Nichols; sister Mildred Maloney; brothers William "Willie" Maloney, Mark Maloney, Harold "Tom" Maloney and Gerald "Gerry" Maloney. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held in Our Lady of Assumption Church, Arichat, on Monday morning at 11 a.m. with Rev. Duaine Devereaux officiating. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Assumption Parish Cemetery, Arichat. Memorial donations can be made to St. Anne Community & Nursing Care Centre, Arichat. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to C.H. Boudreau Funeral Home, Arichat.
