Obituary of Clara Jane Landry

Landry, Clara Jane, Arichat, formerly of Petit De Grat. LANDRY, Clara Jane, 95 - It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mom, grandmother, and great grandmother, who left us peacefully on January 28, 2016 at her residence in St. Anne Community Care and Nursing Centre, Arichat with her loving family by herside. Born in Petit De Grat, she was the daughter of the late John and Anne Jane (Forrest) Fortune. Clara will be sadly missed by her daughter, Diane MacDonald (John), Petit De Grat; sons, Aurelle (Carol) Sydney and Glen (Danette), Port Hawkesbury; grandchildren, Bruce, Joey, Tracy, Robert, Shelly, Michael, André, Daniel, Michelle, Serge, Sylvain and Solange; ; great grandchildren, Jordan, Dawson, Gaberielle, Liam, Nolan, Emily, Kelsey, Benjamin, Isabella, Sophia and Beau; daughter-in-law, Barbara, Sydney; also many nieces and nephews. Clara is the last surviving member of her immediate family. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Wilfred Albany; son, D'Assise; sisters, Irene, Florence and Loretta; brothers, Henry, Edward and Francis. Visitation will be held January 31, 2016 at C. H. Boudreau Funeral Home from 2 - 9pm. Mass of Christian Farewell to celebrate the life of Clara will be held on February 1, 2016 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Petit De Grat at 11:00am with Rev. Andrew Gillies officiating. Burial will be held at the Star of the Sea Cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations can be made to St. Anne Community & Nursing Care Centre or to the Star of the Sea Cemetery Fund.
