Obituary of Clifford Basil Marshall

Potlotek Marshall, Clifford Basil - 60, passed away peacefully at St. Martha's Regional Hospital in Antigonish on the Divine Mercy Sunday April 3, 2016 with his loving family by his side. Born in Sydney, he was the son of the late Thomas Alexander and Pauline Marie (Battiste) Marshall. Clifford was very active in the community and was a former Addictions Counselor. He was also the proprietor of Tranquility Tours in Chapel Island. He is survived by his son Chance(Ashley), Tobique First Nation; daughter, Charlene Coulinceur-Mazerolle, Tobique First Nation; grandchildren Chandler, Abraham; brothers Alexander(Margie), Maynard(Jeannette), Lindsay(Florence), all of Potlotek; sisters Nora(Peter), Bernard, Eskasoni, Rosemary Marshall, Bernadette Marshall, Sharon(Lester), Johnson, all of Potlotek; godparents Murray Marshall and Theresa Stephens, both of Potlotek; he is also survived by his best friend Edward Young, Potlotek. Clifford was predeceased by his brothers James, Gary "Koli", Stephen "Stevo", Russell; sisters Norbertta, Elizabeth; maternal grandparents Stephen & Mary(Basque) Battiste; paternal grandparents Alexander & Rose(Googoo) Marshall. Visitation will take place in St. Kateri Tekawitha Chapel in Potlotek on Thursday from 4 p.m. till time of Mass of Christian Farewell that will be held on Saturday morning at 11 in the St. Peter's Catholic Church in St. Peter's with Rev. Antolin Asur. A salité will take place following the Mass of Christian Farewell in the Potlotek Community Hall. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to C.H. Boudreau Funeral Home, Arichat.
